I'm not, I already said I don't care about genres, I don't care whether it's screamo or hardcore or whatever, Thats a stupid fucking thing to fight about. I'm not trying to be a dick, but everyone else is making me seem that way, I started out by saying that this is okay, but it sounds somewhat generic and that it isn't as good as their new stuff. I'm not trying to sound smart or anything, I am trying to say they don't sound unique at all and the newer stuff sounds way more unique.

first of all you clearly don't know what screamo is if you think this is scremo. and everybody knows exactly what wut your talking about ur not impressing anyone. nice try. and if u think technicality or knowing that your playing in the dorian of an a diminished makes good music then yes u are an idiot. i can understand what u mean when u say this is generic. it doesnt sound very different from alot of hardcore but u dont hav to be a dick about it

I've taken music theory classes and studied music for 3 years, Played guitar for 4 years, Played drums for 2 years, taken Piano lessons for 2 years, and sang almost my whole life, My life pretty much revolves around music, and then I have dickheads like who probably can't even play ANY intstruments and don't know ANY theory, and You probably ONLY listen to "screamo" music because you're a close minded prick.

one of the powerfull songs i have ever hear!!!wow

I didn't say it's bad, It's just a cliche screamo. Their newer stuff has way better chord structure and grooves.

Just because a song doesn't use mindblowingly complex chord/note progressions doesn't automatically make it "generic."Their songwriting during the S/T was straightforward, well-composed, albeit a bit amateurish, but that's part of its appeal. You want "generic?" Listen to Crisis some more. |
