thats what i thought it ment at first but actually it means he knows what it likes to be in california. and he's met this girl who lost herself in cali and he's telling her to go back home and be herself again

Point well taken cushman. However , I wasn't trying to impose my interpretations on anyone. I actually just wanted everyone to think past the literal title and perhaps see a different meaning. You think I accomplished that?

Wow... Monty, thanks for the Ferras 101 but I think I'll interpret the song for myself and now how someone wants me too. It's called freedom of expression... it's why I live in this country :)

one last thing. in my earlier comment i should have said "go home" meaning return to the place where she once loved him. also, notice the setting in the video where he's singing the song and look at where she is at the ending. ANY QUESTIONS?! |
