I don´t like the way you push yourself up with bottom first, not good fo back. :/
roebuckk (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
not too slow but under control
Vazisvo (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Not slowly, its not safe.

the overhand grip will eventually limit how much weight you can pick up. At heavy weight you will likely have to switch to the mixed grip in order to keep the bar from rolling out of your fingers.

as quickly as you can keeping the weight under control. Thus not as slow as you would do a negative but not as fast as dropping the weight.

Is there any difference on how you grip the bar? Overhand or mixed?
roebuckk (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
yeah go down to the power position with head slightly up and chest out shoulders back. Then dip, grip and rip!
