@locolopelocolope..I thought i should clarify my 'opinion'..I'm not trying to 'shift' blame or 'shine the light' in another's direction..I'm sure there have been '"excesses" on all sides involved...My hope is this sad situation can be brought to an end soon...No more lives lost..Too optimistic?..maybe...

Thanks, Jack, good to hear that. Now that you mention that, I think the first cases of abuse were pointed to British personnel. Of course, they are insignificant in number if we consider all the people doing a professional job, and, as I remarked, those cases were world wide disclosed and punished (that never happened with Saddam´s crimes).

@locolopelocolope..Excuse me for jumping in here, but I noticed you said US troops as those are the only ones serving there...Actually former Prime Minister Toni Blair was quoted as saying "There may have been 'instances' of 'excess' behavior by British troops while in Iraq"..And further stated an investigation was being conducted...I have all the confidence in the world our Brit partners will find any misdeeds and punish the guilty...Just as I would hope any guilty from my country would be..

even if you do own all the finanical bodies, its worthless. you have more national debt than that of all of the 3rd world. you have no reserves to back your money so its worth about the same amount as it costs to print your notes. ooooh yes... your stupid notes with 'In god we trust' written on them - in england we have a picture of darwin.
