This clip is dedicated to Marc Ekasala, my friend and part of our film crew - myself, Marc and Genie. He finally surrendered to acute depression and bi-polar illness. He loved everyone he met and they loved him. He also loved karate and he never stopped talking about our visit to see Tanaka at the JKA - part of this clip. Marc we will miss you, Jon Braeley.

I'm so sorry about the death of your friend, Marc Sensei Jon. I really like your videos especially those pertaining to how Zen can be applied to karate. I hope I can buy those videos but I don't have enough money. :-)

try not to be sad, which is difficult, but think of your friend's life as a great concert that you had the pleasure of being a part of. i'm sure he's enjoying a shot of saki with funakoshi and the boys right now.peace my friends.

I am saddened to see that depression took another life, we will always remember him for his humor and kindness. May the universe embrace and give his soul. Azucena & Jochen
